    Enjoy a surprising twist on traditional afternoon tea with this delicious far eastern feast of exotic flavours, from sushi and spring rolls to Asian-inspired sweet treats.

  • American Independence Day - 4th July

    We’ll be flying the star-spangled banner with an awesome evening buffet at Rafters, celebrating this iconic American holiday with a fabulous feast of flavours from across the good old US of A. Hope y’all can join us for spicy wings, pumpkin pie and plenty more besides!

  • ‘From Garden to Plate’ Cookery Demonstration - 18th August 2018

    Join Head Chef Adam Whittle at the Newbridge on Usk for this fabulous interactive demonstration.

    Help pick the fresh ingredients from our kitchen garden which will be transformed by Adam into sensational seasonal dishes. Enjoy a live cookery demonstration on our riverbank terrace, followed by a delicious three course lunch with wine in our Newbridge restaurant.

    Satisfy your sweet cravings as Merlins Bar rolls out its amazing cupcake trolley for National Cupcake Day. You’ll be powerless to resist our mouthwatering Pink Lemonade or Dark Chocolate and Guinness Cupcakes, while The Forum Café serves up their own sensational Strawberry Mallow Milkshake and Carrot Cupcake sweet treats.

  • British Food Fortnight 22nd September - 7th October

    Join us at award-winning Rafters or Newbridge on Usk as we celebrate the very best of British food and drink in our own unique style.

    Take your pick from two extra-special seasonal menus showcasing our wonderful locally-sourced produce, both available to enjoy throughout British Food Fortnight alongside our regular restaurant menus.

  • National Seafood Week 5th – 14th October

    From West Coast crab and Conwy mussels at Rafters, to the fabulous Newbridge fish platter feast at our riverside country inn, we’ll be reeling in the finest local catch during National Seafood Week, with a limited edition menu guaranteed to tempt the tastebuds of any seafood lover.

  • Street Food Cookery Demonstration Thursday 25th October

    Enjoy a unique opportunity to join MasterChef finalist Larkin Cen, for an exciting culinary demonstration showcasing the vibrant flavours of deliciously authentic Asian street food.

    Watch as Larkin expertly prepares and cooks an array of tasty treats including fluffy sweet and savoury steamed baos in a fun and entertaining live demonstration, then enjoy the chance to try some for yourself with a delicious three course lunch specially created for the occasion, served in the stylish surroundings of our Asian-inspired restaurant, Cen.

  • National Sausage Week 30th October - 4th November

    Join us at The Grill for a celebration of beautiful bangers and splendid sizzlers.  Throughout National Sausage Week, diners at our clubhouse restaurant will be able to sample the mouthwatering flavours of our sausage-themed specials, which will be offered alongside our regular menu.  Don't miss these delicious limited edition delights featuring everything from hot dog sliders and chorizo sausage rolls, to pork and leek sausages with shallot mash and red onion jus.

  • World Vegan Day 2nd - 4th November

    To mark World Vegan Day, Rafters restaurant will be celebrating this increasingly popular lifestyle choice with a special vegan-inspired menu, available alongside its regular menu for three days only. Come along and experience the fresh and healthy flavours of a fabulous array of vegan dishes specially created by our chefs.

  • Rafters Jazz Night Saturday 10th November

    This chilled evening of jazz will celebrate great music complemented by fabulous food and wine. Enjoy a seriously smooth cocktail on arrival, followed by a delicious four course gourmet menu served around two sensational sets of live jazz, making this an evening to remember.

    Head to our Newbridge on Usk country inn for a week of wild suppers, as our chefs celebrate British Game Week with a host of unique and delicious dishes.  From hare Scotch egg to roasted Brecon venison loin, this is the perfect opportunity to try something new and exciting.
