The Monkey King is a famous character in an influential Chinese novel called Journey to the West. It is our goal to bring famous Asian dishes to Wales so that people can enjoy the history and unique flavour profiles of classic Asian cuisine using locally sourced ingredients.

Join us at PAD on selected dates to experience The Monkey King menu, featuring appetisers such as mapo tofu and chicken and bacon tsukune followed by a classic Sichuan hotpot (as seen on Great British Menu 2022). The showcase Sichuan hotpot is a classic Chinese banquet dish served family style where raw meats and vegetables are skillfully prepped and brought to the table for diners to cook in the bubbling and fiery hotpot.
