Book a 2 hour on-course playing lesson with one of our PGA professionals for £165 and you will receive a complimentary upgrade to the Twenty Ten course and continue your round at no extra cost!

Tuition Types:

The Celtic Manor Resort boasts one of the finest equipped golf academies in Europe.

Our PGA professionals will provide help and guidance to improve your game, whether that be showing you how to pick up a club for the first time, full analysis of your swing using the latest digital technology, or a few helpful tips to solve that niggling problem.

We offer a range of golf tuition packages on all three courses, and with our PGA Professionals on hand to provide expert support, the tuition packages will improve your skills and ability on the course.

Learn to Play

For a limited time, we’ll be offering a four-week intense tuition package to provide newcomers with all they need to know to learn the art of golf.

Hosted in Bay 13 of The Golf Academy, these 20-minute sessions accurately assess the distance you achieve with each of your clubs using a Trackman launch monitor. With an aim to minimise the gap in distance between different clubs, it’s a great way to quickly assess which areas of your golf game need tuning.

At Celtic Manor, we realise that learning to play golf can be an enormous challenge.

Our friendly and highly skilled team of PGA Professionals will be able to compose a bespoke offering around your requirements for your corporate booking.

PGA Professional Hourly Corporate rate – £100 per hour per pro.

Our standard offerings are listed below but we would be more than happy to discuss any individual ideas or requirements you may have:

A great way for groups to experience golf in a fun way. Our PGA Professional can explain how to hit the shots needed for the session and help each individual while the lesson is taking place. Sessions can be structured around the number or participants to try and learn a few new techniques, all in a relaxed environment. All equipment can be provided.

Perfect to start your round the right way. Our PGA Professional can spend time with each player on the range and make minor setup and swing adjustments to help improve each player’s round. These changes can be justified with video analysis and Trackman technology.

On a Par 4/5 tee our PGA Professional will record each player’s tee shot total distance, spin axis for flight shape, help with any information asked and capture a swing video of every player using Trackman technology. Once completed, the results can be given to the organiser to issue prizes and the swing video can be emailed individually to every player.

On a designated Par 3 our PGA Professional will hit the first shot into the green to set the mark. Each player from the group can then try to achieve a shot closer to the hole. Instant prizes can be awarded by the Professional to the player for a successful shot.

During the round, each player will have the option to try the most modern driver or iron specifically suited to them. They can then compare the results with their current club using Trackman technology, explained in full by our PGA Professional.

Introducing our Ladies Coffee Morning. Perfect for those who are new to the game, helping would-be players of all ages and abilities to unlock their golfing potential in a social setting.

Every Tuesday from 10am – 11am at The Golf Academy. Booking not required, simply turn up on the day.

Open to ladies of all levels of golfing ability. A relaxed, social and fun coaching morning covering all parts of the game on a weekly basis, followed by coffee in the Clubhouse

The Celtic Manor Resort offers exciting junior programmes designed to give boys and girls aged 6 and over the opportunity to have a go at golf for the very first time, in a series of fun sessions at the Golf Academy.

Offering a perfect introduction to the sport, we’ll help your budding Rory McIlroy or Charley Hull get into the swing of things.

Every Wednesday 5pm – 6pm
Every Saturday 10-11am

We are delighted to introduce our new Golf Academy membership. The Golf Academy memberships takes individuals through a 12-month structured coaching programme designed to help golfers progress their game with the guidance of our team of PGA professionals.

BEGINNER MEMBERSHIP

Our Beginner Membership is designed to get new golfers up to speed with all the basic skills and knowledge required to play golf.

MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES:

Use of Caerleon golf course.
One group session per month. Based at the driving range, short game area & putting green.
40 free balls per week to use on our Toptracer Driving Range.

MEMBERSHIP FEE:

Annual Payment £295

INTERMEDIATE MEMBERSHIP

Our Intermediate Membership is designed for golfers that are in between beginner and advanced levels to help them improve their shots but also consistency, control, and placement on the course.

MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES:

Use of Caerleon golf course.
Restricted use of championship courses.
One group session per month. Based at the driving range, short game area & putting green.
Five x 90 minute on course sessions.
40 free balls per week to use on our Toptracer Driving Range.

MEMBERSHIP FEE:

Annual Payment £599

Terms & conditions apply: Championship courses tee times must be booked in off peak times and are limited to 12 x 18 hole rounds or 24 x 9 rounds. Junior ages range from 6-18 years old.

Children’s golf birthday parties are now available on our Toptracer driving range.

£30 per child (minimum party size 10, maximum 15)
