Evergreen Day Nursery
Offering flexible childcare, this purpose-built day nursery has been developed around the needs of children to offer a bright and spacious ‘home from home’.
Welcome to Evergreen...
Offering flexible childcare options for working parents, Evergreen is an exciting purpose-built day nursery at The Celtic Manor Resort.
At Evergreen Day Nursery we believe that children who feel valued, nurtured and acknowledged will respond more enthusiastically and enjoy learning. The key to this is to consider what each individual child’s needs are based on their age and ability, and adapt the way we care for them to meet these needs.
Every parent wants to give their child the best possible start as they take their first steps through life, and we understand that choosing a nursery for your little one can be a daunting decision.
Evergreen Day Nursery has been specifically designed and developed around the needs of children to offer a bright and spacious ‘home from home’ where they will love spending their time.

Caterpillars - 9 weeks to approx 14 months
Babies develop faster in their first year than any other time throughout their lives. In the first year, the excitement of sound, sight and touch will be accompanied by a series of extra special firsts… including walking.
Our experienced team provides expert care and encouragement every step along the way as your child grows. We aim to provide a gentle, loving environment in a homely atmosphere. Learning through play will help develop confidence and skills in this formative year and at Evergreen Day Nursery the team will provide a wealth of experience to respond to the children’s natural curiosity.
Ladybirds - Approx 14 months to 2 years
A baby’s curiosity has no limits as they become mobile and able to explore the wider world around them.
Evergreen Day Nursery provides a safe, interactive environment which aims to encourage babies to explore and build confidence in their abilities. Our team works to complement the relationship that exists between parent and child and we actively encourage parents to be involved in the day care we provide.

A balanced diet is crucial to a child’s physical and mental development.
Here at Evergreen Day Nursery we provide varied menus designed to appeal to children and to provide key nutritional elements.
Food is prepared on site and ingredients are sourced from carefully selected suppliers. Vegetarians and vegans are also catered for, where possible, as are children with special dietary or religious requirements, or those with specific allergies.
Each day’s menu is displayed in the nursery for your information so that you can complement your child’s diet with the food served at home.
At Evergreen we plan activities so all children take part in daily exercise whether it be running in the garden, taking part in our structured weekly sports activity or walking in the woods.
Healthy teeth make a happy smile, the children are encouraged to clean their teeth after meals.
Evergreen Day Nursery is staffed by experienced and dedicated professionals, who have a range of qualifications relevant to child care.
Most team members are also qualified in Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene and have undergone a recent, enhanced CRB check.
