Booking Terms

The terms and conditions detailed below apply to all online bookings at http://www.celtic-manor.com/

When you make a booking, your contract (which shall include these terms and conditions) will be with The Celtic Manor Resort Limited, Coldra Woods, The Usk Valley, Newport, South Wales, UK. NP18 1HQ (referred to in these terms and conditions as "The Celtic Manor").

All rates featured on http://www.celtic-manor.com/ are offered subject to availability and The Celtic Manor reserves the right to refuse any booking for good reason.


Prices

1st - 31st January


Prices shown online are the total stay in sterling (£) based on your request. The total stay price is calculated on per person per night rates (listed in the Room/Rate Description) combined with the number of nights and rooms requested. Prices are subject to change and are only guaranteed once a valid confirmation number is issued. Prices shown online are not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Prices only include the items and services listed as part of the rate and room description. Additional room requests can be made, increasing the total stay costs, at Step 4 in the booking process. Prices do not include any additional services or products used during your stay. All such “incidental” charges along with the total price of stay on all rooms booked are payable on departure (excludes Hunter Lodges - see ‘Deposits & Pre-Payments’ below). It is a condition of this contract that you authorise The Celtic Manor Resort to debit your credit or debit card for the total cost of stay and any incidental charges added to your hotel bill or the hotel bill of your guests. All prices include Value Added Tax (VAT) at 20%.



Availability


Availability of rooms at the rates shown online may be limited and/or restricted to certain periods. During major sporting events, social events, conferences and exhibitions, the same rates may not be available.



Guests with Impaired Mobility/Sight/Hearing or Specific Requirements

The Resort Hotel offers modified room facilities for guests with impaired mobility, sight and hearing. These rooms are described as “Accessible Rooms” and should only be requested if required. Your booking may be cancelled if you knowingly reserve an Accessible Room type when you or your guests have no requirement for this type of room. Others rooms in the Resort Hotel, The Manor House, Newbridge on Usk and Hunter Lodges, whilst not having special facilities, have predominantly level access to public areas and accessible bathrooms. Guests with impaired mobility, sight, hearing or other particular requirements should check with our Reservations Team in advance that their requirements can be met.

Arrival and Departure

Hotel rooms and lodges are available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival. Rooms and lodges must be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure, unless otherwise stated.

Meal Arrangements


We recommend that you book dinner reservations prior to your arrival to guarantee availability. When making your online booking, please state where and at what time you would like to dine and we will endeavour to book this or the nearest available time.

Health Clubs, Golf and Spa

Guests at all of our hotels and Hunter Lodges have complimentary use of both The Forum Health Club and Dylans Health and Fitness Club facilities throughout their stay including swimming pool, sauna, steam rooms, jacuzzi, gym and exercise classes. Both clubs provide complimentary towels and offer lockers with a refundable £1 deposit. Please check our swim times before arrival. Treatments at The Forum Spa and The Ocius Treatment Rooms are not included in your room rate and will be charged as taken. We strongly recommend that you pre-book spa treatments to guarantee availability and arrive at the spa at least 15 minutes in advance of your scheduled treatment time. Unless otherwise stated, golf is not included in your room rate and will be charged as taken. Tee times should also be pre-booked prior to your arrival to guarantee availability. Deposits and Pre-Payments


Deposits and pre-payments may be required for the rates featured online. If pre-payment is not required you will need to guarantee your booking with a valid credit or debit card. This card will be “authorised” for a nominal fee to authenticate the validity of the card. Where payment is not taken from your credit or debit card at the time of booking, payment will be taken on departure or in the event of cancellation unless made in accordance with our cancellation terms. See "Cancellations and Amendments" below for details of our cancellation policy.

Card Pre-Authorisation


A £50 per night, credit/debit card pre-authorisation will be required at the time of check-in, Pre-authorisation amounts are reserved funds which will reduce your available balance, these may show on your statements. Pre-authorisation amounts are held by your card issuer, at check-out the reserved funds or credits will be released by the hotel, the processing time varies with different card issuers.

Hunter Lodges


For stays in one of our Hunter Lodges, a 10% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking, with a further 50% payable 12 weeks prior to arrival, and the final remaining balance to be paid in full 4 weeks prior to arrival. When booking less than 12 weeks in advance, a 60% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking, with the final remaining balance payable in full 6 weeks prior to arrival. When booking less than 4 weeks in advance, a full non-refundable pre-payment is required at the time of booking.

Room Account


Prior to your departure from the Resort you will be required to settle your hotel/lodge room bill. On arrival you will be asked to produce a valid debit or credit card for the hotel to take an imprint. All major credit cards, including MasterCard, Visa and American Express are accepted. If you are settling your account in cash, you will be asked for a deposit to cover the cost of your room for your stay (excludes Hunter Lodges) and any extras which you incur during your stay must be settled at the time of purchase and cannot be charged to your room account.

Cancellations and Amendments


Where payment is not taken at the time of booking, the method of payment used to make your reservation(s) is used as a guarantee and will be charged if cancellation fees are incurred. All hotel accommodation, golf, spa treatments and dinner reservations cancelled less than 7 days prior to the date and time booked, will incur full cancellation charges. For Hunter Lodges, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation: More than 12 weeks prior to arrival – 10% cancellation charge Between 6 and 12 weeks prior to arrival – 60% cancellation charge Less than 6 weeks prior to arrival – 100% cancellation charge You must cancel your booking online where possible or by contacting the Reservations Team on +44 (0) 1633 410 262. Your booking is not deemed to be cancelled until you receive a cancellation reference from The Celtic Manor Resort. You will need to be able to quote this number in the case of any dispute. Where the room rate or activity booked states that it must be pre-paid, this payment is non-refundable and non-transferable. Any amendments to your booking must also be made 7 days or more in advance to avoid full cancellation charges. No-shows or cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the date and time booked will incur cancellation charges at the full rate.

Complaints or Comments


Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at one of our hotels should be made in the first instance to the hotel’s duty manager at the time of your stay so that it can be resolved at the time. Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained online, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions, and reserve the right to vary, amend, supplement or cancel any of the information or offers featured online at any time. The Celtic Manor Resort shall not be responsible for any loss or damage which you may suffer arising out of events beyond its control or the control of its suppliers (including, without limitation, fire, failure of electrical, gas or other power supplies, strikes, industrial action, terrorist activity, technical problems with transport, illness of entertainers and bad weather), nor for any curtailment, cancellation or change to any accommodation, activity or itinerary or any other consequences which arise as a result of such events. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these terms and conditions shall operate to attempt to exclude or limit the Company's liability for the death or personal injury of any person caused by the negligence of the Company or its employees, servants or agents or to attempt to exclude or limit the Company's liability in any manner which would be unlawful. These terms and conditions shall be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom.
