The Resort has two professional standard floodlit tennis courts as well as 2,000 acres of rolling Welsh countryside perfect for walking or mountain biking.
Walking
Our purpose built woodland trails are a great way to explore at your own pace. Each trail is mapped and colour coded to make exploration easy, with finger posts and corresponding colours to those the Resort to guide you on your journey.
Purple Trail - 1.6km; 75m of ascent; walking time 20mins
Blue Trail - 2.62km; 85m of ascent; walking time 30mins
Yellow Trail - 3km; 90m of ascent; walking time 40mins
Further Exploration
For those that want to explore further afield there are plenty of established routes in the local area, such as the 50-mile Usk Valley walk, or numerous trails in the Brecon Beacons or along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast.
Mountain Biking
Cyclists are spoilt for choice with world class mountain bike centres at Cwmcarn and Afon Argoed, the Sustrans national trail and family cycle centre at the Royal Forest of Dean.

Tennis
The Resort has two professional standard floodlit tennis courts, which have been graced by the likes of Pat Cash, Henri Laconte, Goran Ivanisevic and Peter Fleming.
Courts have full floodlighting and an all season surface which allows for play all year round.
Hotel residents can hire the courts during their stay and rackets are available to hire from the Forum Health Club.
Professional Tennis Coaching
We have a professional tennis coaching team who can provide lessons or hitting partners to ensure you maximise your time on court. Lessons are tailored to individual requirements and all aspects of play can be developed during a session.
Coaching sessions are suitable from 3 years of age and for all abilities, from complete beginners to regulars on the tournament scene. Lessons can be shared to benefit regular playing partners or on a one-to-to basis.
Our tennis coaches can also help with equipment advice, and working with our fitness team, deliver training programs to take your tennis to the next level.
