The Celtic Manor Resort has picked up another prestigious award after being voted the Best Spa in Wales by the Good Spa Awards.
The Forum Spa at the five-star resort near Newport beat off strong competition from fellow finalists Bodysgallen Hall, Lake Vyrnwy Hotel, St Bride’s Hotel, St David’s Hotel and The Vale Resort to claim the accolade awarded by the Good Spa Guide.
The award is further outstanding recognition for the spa which was named Best UK Hotel Spa in the 2011 Spa Traveller Awards.
Forum Spa Manager Marieke Teagle said: “We’re delighted to be voted Best Spa in Wales by the Good Spa Awards and we’d like to say a big thank you to readers of the Good Spa Guide for all their support.
“We always get a lot of great feedback from guests and it is fantastic that they have endorsed the treatments and service that they receive in the Forum Spa in this way.”
Opened as part of the massive Resort Hotel expansion of Celtic Manor in 1999, the Forum Spa has 16 separate treatment rooms offering a range of treatments from Elemis, Britain’s leading spa and skincare brand. Signature treatments include the Elemis Herbal Steam Temple and the Elemis Exotic Frangipani Body Nourish Flotation.
Make a day of it with a range of fantastic Spa Experience Days which include full use of the Forum Health Club’s 20-metre swimming pool, spa baths, steam room, sauna and Technogym. Or enjoy a relaxing break at the five-star resort and take in some of the other leisure attractions including six restaurants, three championship golf courses, tennis courts, adventure golf and treetop ropes, mountain biking and walking trails.
