The Celtic Manor Resort has won acclaim for its six restaurants in the Best Kept Secret Awards voted for by users of leading travel website, LateRooms.com
Celtic Manor scooped the Best Dining award after impressing hotel guests with the variety of the cuisine on offer and the high quality of the fine dining restaurant, Terry M.
Judge Charlie Parrish said: “The Celtic Manor offers an exceptional gourmet experience for everyone.
“Its contemporary dining room and delicious food really set it apart as a restaurant with amazing dining.”
Fine dining restaurant Terry M also holds three coveted AA rosettes while other dining options at The Celtic Manor Resort include the Newbridge on Usk country inn, which holds two AA rosettes, and the single AA-rosetted Rafters and Le Patio restaurants.
Accepting the LateRooms.com award, Culinary Director Peter Fuchs said: “We are delighted to win this award from LateRooms.com, especially as it was voted by the many users of this popular travel website.
“While we are well known as the UK’s top conference hotel and as the host venue for golf’s Ryder Cup in 2010, I think the strength of our dining has been something of a Best Kept Secret.
“Hopefully with this award, that will no longer remain true and more people will get to know our six restaurants and the wide variety of quality cuisine we have to offer.”
The Celtic Manor Resort offers a Gourmet Escapes package to enjoy the delights of fine dining restaurant, Terry M, and stay on for a luxury night’s accommodation in the five-star Resort Hotel.
Alternatively, you do not need to be a hotel resident to book a table for dinner or lunch, when prices start from just £14.95 for two courses. Visit www.celtic-manor.com/dining for more details.
