The Celtic Manor Resort is set in 2,000 acres of panoramic parkland in the beautiful Usk Valley, just off the M4 (J24), only 90 minutes from London Heathrow, 45 minutes from Bristol and Cardiff-Wales International Airport and 5 minutes from the Severn Bridge. We are located close to intercity rail services at Newport, with direct trains to Cardiff, London Paddington, and Birmingham.

Directions by Road


From the East or West
As you are approaching on the M4, exit at Junction 24. At the roundabout take the B4237 towards Newport. You will see a large Celtic Manor sign after 100 metres, turn right. You will drive across an overpass (crossing over the M4) and then hit a fork in the road (goes left and right). You are now at The Celtic Manor Resort. Follow the directions below to take you to your destination within the Resort.

From the North
Take the M5 and exit at Junction 15 onto the M4 Westbound. Exit the M4 at Junction 24. At the roundabout take the B4237 towards Newport. You will see a large Celtic Manor sign after 100 metres, turn right. You will drive across an overpass (crossing over the M4) and then hit a fork in the road (goes left and right). You are now at The Celtic Manor Resort. Follow the directions below to take you to your destination within the Resort.

 

From the North (alternative route)
Take the M5, exit at Junction 8 onto the M50 Southbound. This becomes the A40 to Monmouth, which in turn becomes the A449, which terminates at the roundabout beneath Junction 24 of the M4. Do not join the M4. At the roundabout take the B4237 towards Newport. You will see a large Celtic Manor sign after 100 metres, turn right. You will drive across an overpass (crossing over the M4) and then hit a fork in the road (goes left and right). You are now at The Celtic Manor Resort. Follow the directions below to take you to your destination within the Resort.

 

From the South
Start out on the M5 heading south towards the M4, exit at Junction 15 onto the M4 Westbound. Exit the M4 at Junction 24. At the roundabout take the B4237 towards Newport. You will see a large Celtic Manor sign after 100 metres, turn right. You will drive across an overpass (crossing over the M4) and then hit a fork in the road (goes left and right). You are now at The Celtic Manor Resort. Follow the directions below take you to your destination within the Resort.


When travelling to The Celtic Manor Resort please avoid heading north on the A449 from Junction 24 of the M4, as there is no turning for 9 miles.

 

Getting to the Newbridge on Usk

Directions from Bristol M4
Take the M4 to Junction 24 and follow the sign for Newport. Turn right at the Toby Carvery, and follow the B4236 to Caerleon. Turn right and continue over the river bridge, follow the one way system through Caerleon, past the village green and at the mini roundabout go straight ahead on the Llangiby/Usk road.

After nearly 4 miles the Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel is on the left. Turn right opposite the hotel up the lane. Drive through the village of Tredunnock, carry on down the hill and the Newbridge on Usk is on the left, sitting on the banks of the River Usk.

 

Directions from Usk A449
Follow the A449 until the Usk exit. Go through the town. Turn left after the bridge. Go through Llangiby.
After approximately 1 mile turn left signposted Tredunnock before you reach the Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel. Drive through the village, carry on down the hill and the Newbridge on Usk is on the left, sitting on the banks of the River Usk.

 

Arrival at The Celtic Manor Resort

 

Getting to The Resort Hotel
At the fork, go left and continue up the steep hill until you see a sign on your right for underground parking. For overflow or convention centre parking, go right at the fork until you see a large outdoor car park on your right.

 

Getting to The Manor House Hotel
At the fork, go right and The Manor House is immediately on the left. There are a limited number of parking spaces available here. For overflow or Convention Centre parking, continue until you see a large outdoor car park on your right.

 

Getting to The Lodge
At the fork, go left and continue up the steep hill, following signs for The Lodge and Golf Academy. Follow the road through the golf course and drive past the front of The Lodge until you reach the Academy car park on your left. This outdoor car park is free of charge.

 

Getting to The Twenty Ten Clubhouse
On arrival at the Resort, please follow signs for The Lodge and Golf Academy. Just prior to reaching the Academy car park, turn left and go through the underpass, then continue to follow the road ahead for approximately half a mile. On reaching the gated entrance, please announce your arrival via the intercom and drive directly to the entrance of The Twenty Ten Clubhouse, where a courtesy parking service will be provided.

 

Directions by Train


The Celtic Manor Resort is ideally situated and just a short ride from Newport train station. First Great Western operate fast and frequent services into Newport station from London Paddington, Reading, Swindon, Bristol & Avon, Portsmouth Harbour, Southampton, Weymouth and South West Wales. Connecting services also operate from the Cotswolds, Thames Valley, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and the South West.


First Class travel is available on all High Speed Services leaving London Paddington and regular rail-air connections link Gatwick, Heathrow, Bristol and Cardiff Airports from Cardiff Central, Reading, Bristol Temple Meads and London Paddington stations.

Directions by Air


There is a dedicated helipad at the Resort. Arrivals and departures must be arranged via our Concierge on +44 (0) 1633 410 295. This service is complimentary for hotel residents and £150.00 per landing for non-hotel residents.


Parking


The Celtic Manor Resort has extensive parking facilities available to guests and visitors.
There are around 1500 car parking spaces across the Resort.


Please note from 4th January 2013 charges will apply for valet parking and use of our underground car park. Additional complimentary parking is available in all outdoor car parks.

 

Underground Parking
The underground car park is directly below the Resort Hotel. If you are visiting the Resort Hotel, Terry M, The Olive Tree, Merlins Bar or The Forum Health Club and Spa, this is the best place to park.

Outdoor Parking - near The Manor House Hotel
The south side of the Hotel/Convention Centre has an outdoor car park for up to 500 vehicles. It is a short 3 minute walk uphill to the Convention Centre and a further 3 escalators to take you up into the Resort Hotel.

 

Outdoor Parking - near The Lodge/Golf Academy
The Lodge and The Golf Academy have their own shared car park.

 

Outdoor Parking - The Twenty Ten Clubhouse
Parking at The Twenty Ten Clubhouse is strictly for members, visitors to Rafters restaurant and visitors playing The Twenty Ten course.
