Front Office Agent

Job Description:

The Front Office Agent's role is to ensure that all guests are given a warm and friendly welcome to the Resort.  In this role you are required to have good knowledge of the Resort and the services provided by various outlets so you can inform guests of the facilities available to them during their stay. 
 
You will offer ‘rooming’ to all arrivals and attempt to learn and use guests’ names at every opportunity.  This is of utmost importance in our goal of providing a personalised service.   You will also ensure that daily cashiering is completed at the end of each shift and the correct cashiering procedures are adhered to. 
 
Other duties will include answering the telephone promptly and courteously, using the correct greeting and taking personal interest and pride for ensuring that the reception desk area is kept clean and in an orderly state at all times.
 
The individual should have a friendly personality, excellent grooming standards, be organised and have good communications skills. They also must be confident, customer service focused, have basic computer skills and ideally have previous experience as a receptionist.Use of Fidelio an advantage, but not essential as training will be given.  Fluency in a second language is desirable but not essential.
 
Shift details: 5 days out of 7, shifts within the times of 7.00am to 11:00pm
