The Celtic Manor Resort's flagship European Tour golf event will kick off the race for qualification for The 2014 Ryder Cup when it switches to a new later date in the international schedule this summer. 

 

The 2013 tournament will be the first counting event towards qualification for the European Team which will defend The Ryder Cup at Gleneagles in 2014.
