#TasteOfNewbridge Blogger Event

Category: Events, Out and About - Local Events, What They Say - Guest Blog, What's New

Local bloggers, Jamie from Explore with Ed, Kacie from The Rare Welsh Bit and Leanne from A Slice of My Life Wales were invited to experience a #TasteOfNewbridge, with our garden to plate blogger event earlier this month.

Occupying an idyllic location right on the river bank, The Newbridge on Usk is a charming 200-year-old country inn just a few miles upriver from the Resort itself.

Reflecting the setting, The Newbridge on Usk offers a seasonal menu of wholesome country fare that is lovingly cooked using fresh, local, and homegrown produce by head chef Adam Whittle.

EXPLOREWITHED
"Adding the torched, crispy meringues to a plate, Adam finished the dessert with a few fresh strawberries, a drizzle of strawberry soup and edible flowers like the yellow cucumber petals." Jamie from Explore with Ed.

KACIE

"Ronan introduced us to some of Newbridge’s home-made infused spirits including Newbridge Spiced Rum, coffee vodka, strawberry and basil vodka, Newbridge Mojito Rum, raspberry gin and ginger Jack Daniel’s, to name just a few" Kacie from The Rare Welsh Bit.

Leanne_Ronan

"We had a fantastic evening, the staff at the Newbridge on Usk are fantastic, they are very friendly and clearly take a lot of pride in their work" Leanne from A Slice of My Life Wales.

Check back soon to see what our other bloggers thought of the evening.

Wonderful present of vouchers given to us for the Celtic manor lunch... Decided to go to The new bridge , so glad we did .... Food wonderful ... One of us went of the lunch menu on to the Al-la-carte, however, we can honestly say, even though there was more choice on a.l.c. The food on both menu was 10/10 have also sampled on a few occasions their Sunday lunch, excellent, with lovely music and atmosphere ... Now decided to splash out and have booked for Xmas day.... Wonderful
