May days call for golfers to compete in Open Week

Category: News, Up Your Game

Visiting golfers will have a great opportunity to play one or all three of the golf courses at Celtic Manor while competing for fabulous prizes during the resort’s first Open Week.

Six open competitions will take place in five days between Monday 8th May and Friday 12th May. Formats include individual stableford, open pairs and teams of four with competitions for men, ladies and seniors.

Entry fees are just £25 per golfer for the events on the Roman Road and Montgomerie courses and £60 per golfer on the Twenty Ten which provided such a dramatic stage for the Ryder Cup seven years ago.

The Roman Road Course was home to the SSE Enterprise Wales Senior Open in 2015 and 2016 while the Montgomerie Course has played host to the next generation of up and coming professionals on the EuroPro Tour.

All the competitions during the Open Week feature prize tables with some fantastic golfing rewards available for the winning individuals and teams.
