Step 1 – Find a pine cone or cones depending on how many decorations you would like to make. We recommend using smaller pine cones for the Christmas tree and larger pine cones as a festive ornament.

Step 2 – Glue a black/red pom pom onto the pine cone using any craft glue to make your reindeer’s nose.

Step 3 - Once the glue has dried you then need to find some googly eyes, which can be found at most supermarkets and craft stores. Once you have your eyes ready, glue them to the pine cone and allow the glue to set.

Step 4 – To make your reindeer’s ears you will need some plain brown felt, which usually comes in A4 size. All you need to do is cut out a small tear drop shape to make the ears for your decoration. Once you have cut the ears out, glue them to the pine cone and allow the glue to set.

Step 5 – Once the glue has dried you then need to create the antlers, which can be made from small twigs found in your garden! Depending on the pine cone, you may be able to either attach them using hot glue or wedge the antlers in the pinecone itself.

Step 6 – Finally, why not add a little festive sparkle by gluing some ribbon to the top of your decoration, this can easily be applied with a dab of hot glue.
