Last week we held an exciting culinary blogger event spanning across three of our stunning new restaurants. The evening started off with fizz and delicious food which was presented in the Signature Lounge, before bloggers headed into Steak on Six for a presentation by our Food & Beverage Director Glenn Lewis.
Bloggers were then taken down to Epicure by Richard Davies, where they were treated to an amuse bouche of celeriac veloute and a scallop starter followed by a chat with chef Richard Davies, who has held a Michelin Star for eight years at his two previous restaurants.
Next up the bloggers moved on to our new Asian fusion restaurant CEN where they experienced an exciting live demonstration by former BBC MasterChef finalist Larkin Cen, who talked them through the meticulous preparation of Peking Duck.
Appetites suitably whetted, guests were able to enjoy the succulent duck in the restaurant, wrapped in pancakes with cucumber, spring onion and Peking sauce. The evening ended on a high with a delicious dark chocolate torte, chocolate mousse, aero, malt ice cream and Mandarin, and a second dessert of ice cream bao slider.
