I thought I had all the wedding ideas I could possibly imagine crammed onto my Pinterest account. Until I attended the Celtic Manor Wedding Fayre on
Sunday that is...
Whilst my venue and dress are all sorted, there was still tons
of inspiration and help for all the finishing touches to the Big Day.
I wasn't dress shopping for myself but was thrilled to see loads of
Mother of the Bride, Bridesmaid and Groom inspiration on the runway alongside
Bridal at the catwalk shows (presented by TV personality Suzanne Shaw). Check out the full list of boutiques here. I’ve
now got my eye on a few Slaters suits for my Mr, as rocked by the hilariously cheeky
models on the catwalk.
Prior to the show I'd already put in an order with Event Hire company WOW, who had a stand showcasing their
beautiful tables, (I may have to copy their pretty paper flowers below) and also helped
dress reception rooms for tours around the resort on the day.
Upon seeing the outstanding draping on the Rooftop Garden in all it's glory I couldn't help adding a few extras into my
package with them.
Exhibitors showcased just how much you can inject
personality into your Big Day. I fell head over heels with Event Prop Shop’s
LOVE letters. They're the perfect finishing touch to a reception venue.
I was always keen on a photo booth but wasn’t sure we could
fit into the budget. However after speaking to the guys at UltraBooth I was surprised
by the reasonable costs and how much personalisation you could have. (I'm thinking a bride and groom initial overlay).
To top it off, Celtic Manor had a #celticbrideselfie stand, complete with bridal props and quotes, which were such a big hit, it
sealed the deal for my own photo booth at the wedding. My guests will have a
ball in there after all and who doesn’t want to look back at an album full of intoxicated friends and family in fancy dress?
I entered the
thinking I had it all sorted. How wrong was I! I came out with so many new ideas (and perhaps a few additions to the budget) it was a great day out and The Big Day now has the perfect personal finishing touch.
Did you take a celticbrideselfie? See if you can spot yourself in the album.
