Walking and Mountain Biking

With over 1400 acres of rolling Welsh countryside, walking or mountain biking are ideal ways to see the beautiful Resort grounds. Our purpose built woodland trails are a great way to explore at your own pace. Each trail is mapped and colour coded to make exploration easy, with finger posts and corresponding colours to those the Resort to guide you on your journey.

Purple Trail - 1.6km; 75m of ascent; walking time 20mins

Blue Trail - 2.62km; 85m of ascent; walking time 30mins

Yellow Trail - 3km; 90m of ascent; walking time 40mins


Further Exploration

For those that want to explore further afield there are plenty of established routes in the local area, such as the 50-mile Usk Valley walk, or numerous trails in the Brecon Beacons or along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast.

Mountain Biking

Cyclists are spoilt for choice with world class mountain bike centres at Cwmcarn and Afon Argoed, the Sustrans national trail and family cycle centre at the Royal Forest of Dean.
